
Rockville, Maryland, February 17, 2026— MELE Associates, Inc. (MELE), a veteran and minority-owned government contractor with more than three decades of success serving U.S. federal, state, and local agencies, and international organizations, announced today that it is a subcontractor on the GME Enterprise led team that was recently awarded a contract to provide Emergency Management Support Services to the Montgomery County, Maryland Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (OEMHS).
MELE will support the GME Enterprise team and OEMHS in promoting emergency preparedness and community resilience by providing operational, technical, and programmatic services, including the coordination of disaster response activities with the county’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC). MELE will also help deliver coordination and situational awareness services, including assistance with pre-disaster emergency planning and preparedness exercises. What’s more, MELE will support communications for imminent emergencies through the Alert Montgomery emergency notification system while helping to enhance community engagement around advance emergency preparedness.
