Employee Spotlight: Tim C.

Employee Spotlight: Tim C.

Meet Tim C., a Senior Operations Analyst at MELE. Tim’s focus is on improving internal organization processes for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Prior to joining the MELE team, Tim worked at another federal contractor organization where he also supported the NNSA. He has been with MELE since 2020.

“The best part of my job is knowing that my time and energy are being spent on issues that have a long-lasting positive impact on the federal client and are aimed at improving broad organizational efficiency, which can directly benefit quality of life for the staff,” Tim shared.  “At the end of the day, the people enable the mission, and there are some incredible people with which I have the privilege of working. If I get to make their days just a little better or easier, it’s the only reward I need.”

“MELE has proven their excellence, maintaining and growing many contracts over long years of dedicated service to federal clients. MELE’s stability and reputation in the federal community is valuable and gives me pride to say I work for MELE,” he added.

“Tim continues to provide exceptional performance to the NNSA client and is a key member of the team. Through his work and dedication, he is a role model for all,” said VP Carrie Phelps.

Tim grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is a University of New Mexico alumnus.  While attending university, he interned at Sandia National Laboratories, and ever since that point he was hooked on nuclear nonproliferation issues.

When not working, Tim is training to run his first 100-mile ultramarathon in Ouray, Colorado (along the way he’ll also run his first 50-mile race). Tim enjoys the outdoors in less physically demanding ways, too. He sees the New Mexico Sandia Mountains as a national treasure and spends as many hours as possible in the mountains exploring. Tim also writes and produces his own music, drinks way too much espresso, and enjoys playing competitive video games with his friends.
