He has extensive experience in detection systems, radiological monitoring, security training, and security exercises. Mr. Hansen has managed large programs, and supports the Divisions clients’; including DOE/NNSA nonproliferation and counterterrorism, DHS/CWMD, Cybersecurity, Physical security, Policy Support, Strategic Planning, and Outreach.
Mr. Hansen has directed projects and assessments at CONUS/OCONUS locations, coordinated complex physical protection system installations, upgrades, and integrations with consistent results under budget and within timeframes. He manages multiple project scopes and task orders with DOE/NNSA program offices and other federal agencies. He is the Program Manager and SME for many projects related to counterproliferation, counterterrorism, and national security. He has extensive experience working with a variety of federal and municipal response force agencies conducting awareness training for critical alarm response to high security incidents.
Mr. Hansen is the lead for all new design, development and pilot programs for new technologies. He has developed a robust network of software and hardware developers along with strong working relationships with a number of the DOE’s National Laboratories. He is the inventor of an integrated and scalable detection system currently in pilot and patent pending. He has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
