MELE’s CFO, Janice G., recently celebrated an incredible 25 years of service with the MELE!
Janice’s journey is deeply intertwined with MELE’s growth story. She joined the company at just 19 years old and was there in the early days when MELE was a 50-person organization headquartered out of the back of an auto body shop. Few people have witnessed—and helped shape—the company’s evolution as closely as she has.
After beginning her career at MELE as an Accounting Clerk in 1997, Janice returned to the company as Controller in 2009 and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2023.
Throughout her tenure, Janice has played a pivotal role in building and scaling MELE’s accounting organization, developing the financial infrastructure, processes, and talent needed to support the company’s continued growth. Over the past two decades, she has been heavily involved in the implementation, enhancement, and modernization of MELE’s ERP and business management systems, helping drive greater automation, efficiency, visibility, and collaboration across the enterprise.
Her leadership has also been instrumental in establishing financial controls, accounting best practices, and standard operating procedures that have contributed to MELE’s long-term stability, operational excellence, and financial success.
