National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day 2022

In 2015, National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) was created to highlight the support and appreciation that the public holds for law enforcement officers. MELE recognizes the dedication and determination of all members of law enforcement and says THANK YOU for all your hard work and sacrifice to keep us safe.

Want to celebrate L.E.A.D. in your community?  There are many ways to participate:

• Say thank you to officers you encounter
• Wear blue to show solidarity
• Send cards of appreciation to police stations
• Display blue porch lights
• Share a positive story or interaction you have had with an officer of the law
• Send a gift to a police officer
