Vice President
Jackson Q. Crocker (JQ) brings over three decades of leadership and senior management experience in the fields of engineering, research, and operations to his role as vice president.
Prior to joining MELE in 2023, JQ was with the NNSA, where he served as Director, Office of Nuclear Incident Response, for the last seven years of his more than 19-year career with the agency. A former member of the Federal Senior Executive Service (SES), JQ offers MELE’s partners a wealth of knowledge and proficiency in overseeing complex government projects and program management. He also served 28 years in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve. JQ’s expertise spans a wide array of specialized areas, including the nuclear weapons complex/nuclear security enterprise, incidence management, and organizational structures.
As vice president, JQ leads and provides oversight to his growing management portfolio of MELE partnerships.
JQ earned his BS in Applied Physics from Purdue University. He also holds Master of Science degrees from Central Michigan University in Information Resource Management and New Mexico Tech in Mechanical Engineering—with specialization in explosives. JQ has also earned a Master’s Degree in Military National Resource Strategy and Policy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy. Outside of work JQ finds joy in his family life. He is a devoted husband to Suzanne and a proud father of three children: Quentin, Cody, and Kaitlyn.
