MELE Mentorship Grows

MELE Associates has been selected to serve as a mentor to Global DataSec (GDS) as part of the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Mentor-Protégé Program.

GSA established the Mentor-Protégé program to enable small businesses, such as women-owned and veteran-owned businesses, to "perform successfully on GSA contracts and subcontracts,” according to www.gsa.gov. The benefit of doing business with participants in the GSA Mentor-Protégé Program is that there is the assurance of an experienced business, with the agility and flexibility of a small up and coming business, ensuring the client an ideal team with which to do business.

GDS is a small disadvantaged business and is 8(a) certified. Services focus on providing quality solutions in Information Technology, Administrative Support, Security, Construction and Engineering, and Program Management to commercial and government clients.

MELE is eager to enhance the capabilities of GDS to perform as contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
