MAX3 Team Wins NA-24 ContractMonday, December 13, 2010 02:54:41 PMThe MELE Associates led MAX3 Team today announced that it has received a task order contract from the Department of Energy / National Nuclear Security Administration to perform Technical and Analytical Support for the NNSA Office of Nonproliferation and International Security (NA-24). The contract has a total contract value of $17 million.
The Office of Nonproliferation and International Security (NA-24) is responsible for the maintenance of a safe, secure and reliable stockpile of nuclear weapons and associated materials, along with promoting international nuclear safety and nonproliferation. This important program helps prevent and counter weapons of mass destruction proliferation and works side-by-side with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in developing and implementing new policies that surround global nonproliferation regimes.
The MAX3 Team is working with NA-24 by providing day-to-day support of management functions in various sub-offices. Each sub-office of NA-24 has a specific mission statement which MELE is aware of and all work performed in each area is customized to meet the needs of the work culture and environment.
