Army - R2-3G

Background: The Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Rapid Response-Third Generation Program (R2-3G) contract provides a vehicle for government managers worldwide to obtain critical equipment and engineering services for platforms, systems, and items. The R2-3G contract vehicle is a multiple award task order contract consisting of seventeen separate Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. Requirements for a broad range of services are competed as task orders and designed to be executed within 45 days of the solicitation. The aggregate ceiling value of all seventeen prime contracts over the 5-year periof of performance from July 2010 to July 2015 is $16.4 billion.

MELE Associates is a member of the Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) R2-3G Team which is built to provide the required services and equipment for:

Modeling and simulation
Installation
Hardware fabrication
Test and evaluation
Certification
Studies and analyses
Technical data management
Logistics support
Training and exercise support
Acquisition support
Construction support
Army Team C4ISR relocation services

Who Can Use This Contract Vehicle: The R2-3G contract can be used by any Government agency that uses federal funds - such as Department of State, Department of Defense, NASA and all other federal agencies. Services or equipment under the R2-3G contract may be provided to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies. In addition, services may be provided if so authorized by specific Legislation, State and Local Government e.g. Public Law 108-136 Section 803, Tasks for State and local Governments involving anti-terrorism technology and services or where a federal account is used to fund the effort.
