ALSI is an American company that specializes in the development and manufacture of high powered, ultra energy-efficient, light emitting diode (“LED”) Solid State Lighting fixtures. The company has created a product line of fixtures that are designed to offer an attractive, "green" alternative to a very large segment of the commercial and industrial market to include streetlights, warehouse lighting, sign illumination, outdoor parking lot and indoor parking garage lighting, tunnel lighting, and other indoor office lighting and specialty lighting applications. With R&D and product assembly facilities located in Pennsylvania, we have developed a far reaching variety of products utilizing cutting-edge, patented and patent-pending technology that are now being successfully marketed and sold across the United States. Such patented and patent-pending innovations are the foundation of our product's design and operation and include thermal heat dissipation, reflectors, rapid change/replacement capability, advanced Power System Drivers and LED Boards, and certain other electronic innovations (see ALSI Engineering Standards).

About the MELE/ALSI Team

MELE understands the need for more efficient and alternative energy sources. Being engaged in research and engineering projects to develop alternative energy solutions it made sense to team with Appalachian Lighting Systems (ALSI) and Aleut to bring our customers the next generation in high efficiency lighting.

Together, MELE, ALSI and Aleut provide American-made, state-of-the-art, extremely energy efficient LED lighting to customers throughout the United States. MELE Associates is partnered with Innovative Energy Technologies (IET) and together they act as the official distributor for ALSI in several states, including MD, DC, VA, HI, New Mexico, Colorado, and California.

At ALSI, we’ve developed and evolved a series of innovations to the design and operation of our products. Thermal dissipation, shaped reflectors and various electronic control features are each undergoing marketplace protection through the patent pending process.

Our LED lighting fixtures are specially designed for use by commercial businesses and municipalities and feature a patented design for maintenance-free life of well over 100,000 hours. Benefits:
