MELE Pacific’s recent work includes:

Construction Management services for the modification and expansion of the Honolulu Plant for Waste to Energy Recovery (HPOWER) for the City and County of Honolulu.
MELE has provided program management support and pioneered the development of Open Source Vista with the support of Sentator Daniel Inouye since 1999. Our Vista work led us to launch an Application Service Provider (ASP) model for commercial sales to health organizations such as hospitals, clinics and physicians' offices to provide access to a secure, HIPAA-compliant, web-based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) without the costs associated with IT staff, hardware installation, and licensing of proprietary software.
Upgrade and modernization of the tactical air defense satellite systems communications for the Pacific Air Operations Center (PAOC) at Hawaii's Hickam Air Force Base (AFB). MELE designed, installed, and developed a world class technical control facility to support Space and Air Telecommunications throughout the Pacific.
Wide area network maintenance, software upgrades, remote technical support, and reconfiguration for all of the ATM network hardware and software for the American Samoa fiber backbone and with inter-island microwave links to the islands of Manua and Aunuu. The network interconnects 45 public and private schools throughout American Samoa.
Management oversight of the installation of an ATM-based fiber backbone interconnecting 18 schools, government, and the medical hospital in the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas.
