MELE has been the prime contractor to the Department of Defense-Pacific Regional Medical Command and the Spark M. Matsunaga Veteran Affairs Medical Center Joint Venture. Over 40 MELE staff and sub-contractors assisted the Joint Venture to improve the quality, accessibility, patient satisfaction, and cost effectiveness of healthcare services provided to beneficiaries through the use of emerging and telehealth technologies in the areas of research, development, prototyping, evaluation, and technology transfer.
