MAX³ Team Working On 14 Task Orders And Counting...

Washington, D.C., 2 April 08 - To date, MAX³ has captured 14 task orders valued at more than $58 million under the DOE/NNSA Technical Support Services contract it was awarded through GSA one year ago this month.

As Contract Team Lead for this 10-company team, MELE Associates is proud to head this effort in providing the Department of Energy with high quality personnel and services.

To enhance task monitoring for the Department's contracting officers, MELE Associates uploads MAX³ monthly status reports on a password-protected site which includes a "dashboard" view of spending and progress indicators.

Air Force Surgeon General Reports to Congress

Washington, D.C., 25 February 08 - According to the Federal Telemedicine News, Lieutenant General James G. Roudebush, MD., Air Force Surgeon General, recently appeared before the House Committee on Armed Services. He noted that using telehealth technologies to link radiologists is in the forefront with the development of the Air Force Radiology Network (RADNET) Project. The project provides Dynamic Workload Allocation by linking the military radiologists via a global enterprise system. MELE Associates Subject Matter Expert James Mason has been working on the Dynamic Workload Allocation project for three years, and our company is proud of Mr. Mason's contribution to the project and its key role in RADNET.

The Air Force Surgeon General also reported that the joint electronic health record known as Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP) is now visible to all medical providers. Clinicians are now able to access the data at every military and VA medical center world-wide using the joint Bidirectional Health Information Exchange (BHIE). MELE Associates SMEs John Keane and John Barile have been providing ongoing support and lifecycle management for TMIP for more than two years.

MELE Team Wins DOE Technical Contract

Washington, D.C., 6 April 07 - Serving as the Contract Team Lead for the MAX3 (Max Cubed) Team, MELE Associates has been awarded a Technical Support Services contract through the GSA valued at $142 million.  Five teams were awarded a contract in all.  MAX3 is providing program management, technical, and engineering services to the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration.

MAX3 is comprised of a select group of companies that share a record of long-term dedication and successful performance at the Department of Energy.  The team’s technical experience and expertise combined with its current NNSA footprint and resource pool ensure a quick, low-risk transition and maximum performance on tasks.  MELE and virtually all of the MAX3 team members are currently supporting a range of activities across numerous offices within the Department of Energy.

Air Force Surgeon General Awards MELE Contract

Bolling AFB, Washington DC, 7 July 06 - MELE Associates has successfully competed for a 5-year contract worth $7.9 million to continue the outstanding work it currently provides to the Air Force Surgeon General Modernization Directorate in three areas: Program management of more than two dozen Congressional telehealth programs; Management and Life-cycle support of the Air Force Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP); and IT and Security quality assurance. 

Under the new contract, MELE will continue to build its reputation for providing high quality support to AF/SGRM through dedicated and experienced staff.  Rapid growth in the number of programs managed is expected to continue, and MELE Associates has added additional management and administrative staff to support this effort.

MELE Health Information Systems Launches VistaASP
Honolulu, HI, 15 June 06 - MELE Associates, a total solution IT provider and systems integrator, has established a Health Information Systems (HIS) division to launch its new commercial enterprise as an application service provider (ASP) of Open Source Vista solutions for hospitals, clinics and medical practice groups.
 
Vista ASP offers small to medium-size physician practices an electronic health record (EHR) based on the Department of Veterans Affairs VistA health information system. Vista ASP gives physician subscribers access to their own HIPAA-compliant electronic health record system. As an ASP, MELE Health Information Systems enables subscribers to access VistA from its server data center in Albuquerque, New Mexico without the need for clients to employ an IT staff to maintain the system. MELE Wins Air Force Contract For Multi-Mission Payload Integration
Fort Huachuca, AZ, 19 May 06 - MELE Associates, teamed with STG, Magnus Aviation and Gulfstream, have been awarded an Air Force contract valued at $30 million to integrate communications systems into varied host platforms.
 
The first challenge will be integrating an airborne communications package that can be used as a battlefield airborne communications node into a Gulfstream aircraft. To meet this challenge, MELE has opened and staffed an office in Newport News, VA to facilitate service to the Air Force Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Center based at Langley Air Field.
