MELE Joins Northrop for Army R2-3G

The Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Rapid Response-Third Generation Program (R2-3G) contract provides a vehicle for government managers worldwide to obtain critical equipment and engineering services for platforms, systems, and items. The R2-3G contract vehicle is a multiple award task order contract consisting of seventeen separate Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. Requirements for a broad range of services are competed as task orders and designed to be executed within 45 days of the solicitation. The aggregate ceiling value of all seventeen prime contracts over the 5-year periof of performance from July 2010 to July 2015 is $16.4 billion. MELE Headquarters Moves Offices

As of October 1st, MELE Associates has moved its headquarters to a larger facility more than twice the square footage of the former location.  The move to this larger facilities accommodates the growth MELE has had over the past several years, and provides adequate room for further growth.  Management and staff are excited to leverage the new space in ways that enable our team to better serve all of MELE's customers. MELE Awarded Construction Project

MELE Associates, Inc. has been awarded a contract through the City & County of Honolulu to provide construction management services for the design/building of East Kapolei Fire Station on the island of Oahu.  The fire station will be located across the street from the headquarters of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands and will house an engine company and ladder company with a total of 30 personnel. Groundbreaking took place on July 19th 2010. The fire station will also act as a regional station, offering a depot for storage of supplies and equipment that can be deployed quickly to the region in the event of natural or man-made disasters. MAX3 Team Retains Nine Contracts

The MELE Associates led MAX3 Team has retained all nine of its original task order contracts that were re-competed this Spring. The contracts cover an array of work including program management, technical and analytical support, and security support services. The contracts will run for the next three years, and their combined worth is over $20 million. The contracts cover a range of NNSA offices, including: Office of International Material Protection and Cooperation, Office of Defense Nuclear Security, Office of Facility and Infrastructure, Office of Defense Programs, Office of Research and Development for National Security Science, Office of Strategy, Policy, and Modernization, and Office of Research and Development and Simulation. MAX3 Wins 23rd Task Order

MELE Associates has been awarded another contract with the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration. This most recent effort comes out of the NNSA’s  Office of Strategy and Modernization (NA-141).  MAX3 will be providing advice and insight as well as technical, liaison, and analytical support.  The contract is worth $2.1 million over the next three years.   The Office of Strategy and Modernization (NA-141) directs, manages and coordinates strategic and transformative planning and analysis for Defense Programs. PMSS-2 Team Award

The purpose of the PMSS-2 IDIQ is to provide a full range of life cycle support services, i.e., program management support services, advisory and consulting services and other information technology-related services required by the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) headquarters, directorates, and project / product offices, supporting missions, and supporting command, control and communications. In considering the PMSS-2 bids submitted 22 months ago, ITEC-4 has announced winning awards in the large business category for L-3 Communications (MPRI), SRA, and Booz Allen; the small business category awards remained the same with Savantage and Binary. As members of the L-3 Com Team, MELE Associates looks forward to the PMSS-2 IDIQ which could begin issuing task order solicitations by June 2009....

MELE Team Wins DOE Technical Contract

Washington, D.C., 6 April 07 - Serving as the Contract Team Lead for the MAX3 (Max Cubed) Team, MELE Associates has been awarded a Technical Support Services contract through the GSA valued at $142 million.
