MELE Awarded TEVOC Defensive Driver Instructor Task Order

MELE was awarded task 65 to provide new agents & analyst training unit TEVOC Drive Instructors to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Solution for Administrative and Program Services sector.  The Tactical and Emergency Vehicle Operations Center (TEVOC) hosts training sessions for a wide variety of FBI (and non-FBI) entities. MELE won the NA-80 Recompete for the Office of Couterterrorism and Counterproliferation  Vault activities and Technical support.

NNSA requires technical support for the management and administration of highly technical topics involving all classifications of Restricted Data, protected under strict security and special access controls. These topics include: providing technical guidance on the efficacy of improvised nuclear designs and their impacts and implications to national and international policy, integrating technical proposals into a single office technical program execution plan, and guiding the day-to-day execution of the international and technical programs in response to federal direction.

MELE is providing support to specific NNSA programs at Headquarters and the field (national laboratories and plants). MELE is to provide national-level, compartmented activity support in the following functional areas

1) program management
2) technical management
3) information security and administration
4) administrative support

 

MELE was awarded the PI-EPSA Recompete for the Technical and Program Management Support fot the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Policy and Systems Analysis.

EPSA serves as the principal advisor to the Secretary of Energy on energy policy and related integration of energy systems. The Office serves as a focal point for policy coordination within the Department on the analysis, formulation, development, and advancement of energy policy and related programmatic options and initiatives that could facilitate the transition to a low-carbon, economically competitive and secure energy economy.  EPSA carries out strategic studies and policy analysis, and maintains and coordinates a supporting set of analytical capabilities internally or accessible from other sources. MELE awarded task order for the DOE’s Office of Policy and International Affairs

MELE Associates is proud to be awarded a $6 million task order under its Technical, Engineering and Programmatic Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (TEPS BPA) to support the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Policy and International Affairs (PI).

PI is the primary policy advisor to the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Under Secretary on domestic and international policy development and implementation. The Office of Policy and International Affairs' role is to deliver unbiased advice to the Department of Energy's leadership on existing and prospective energy-related policies, based on integrated and well-founded data and analysis. The Office of Policy and International Affairs has primary responsibility for the Department of Energy's international energy activities including international emergency management, national security, and international cooperation in science and technology. The principal purpose of MELE and its teammate, Energetics, is to provide analysis and technical support for PI’s planning, design, coordination, monitoring, oversight and reporting of a portfolio of activities related to both ongoing and future policies, programs and initiatives. Energetics brings substantial expertise and institutional knowledge to PI as an established performer within the PI office. Together, support policy and program formulation, management, implementation, reporting and evaluation.
